Fires when a USB host (computer, dock, data cable) is connected while the phone is locked and armed. Wall chargers and USB accessories like Android Auto pass through silently — they speak a restricted protocol and can't read your files. A cable already plugged at arming time is the safe baseline; only new connections trigger. Plugging in while you're using the phone is treated as authorised. PIN abort surfaces directly on the lockscreen so you can cancel without unlocking first.
